A really nice guide book to a very important part of the Alps. Walliser Alpen Ost is published by the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) and features hundreds of ski touring routes stretching from the Matterhorn to the Furkapass.

Some legendary zones are included - the Zermatt and Saas Fee four thousanders, lonely Turtmanntal, Simplonpass and beautiful Binntal. Extensive info on times, distance, ascent / descent etc are included, along with info on mountain huts, local access and avalanche concerns.
