Text reads:
Though sometimes referred to as the “Matterhorn of the Alps”, the characteristic shape of Ama Dablam sets its own beauty standards. The mountain dominates the eastern panorama of hikers and climbers on their way to Everest Base Camp. Its distinctive ridges reach down like the arms of a caring mother, or “Ama”. The glacier hanging in between resembles a so-called “Dablam”, a traditional pendant worn by Sherpa women. Ama Dablam is the third most popular summit for mountaineers in the Himalayas, after Everest and Cho Oyu. In contrast to Earth's highest mountain, which is mostly visited in May, at Ama Dablam the fall is the most popular climbing season.
