Ben Tibbetts is a Mountain Guide who is well known as an incredible photographer. His first book Alpenglow is a gorgeous presentation of the 4000m peaks of the Alps. His new book, The 4000m Peaks of the Alps Vol 1 West - Selected Alpine Climbs & Ski Mountaineering Routes is more of a guide book than a coffee table book.

It still contains incredible images and is perhaps the most up to date guide to 4000m peaks of the Western Alps at the moment. Something that's very pertinent in today's world of rapid glacial recession.

The guide is mainly based around alpine climbing routes but also contains info on skiing ascents and descents.
